Burying The Ex
LOVED this horror comedy! Entertainingly cheeky! Nice boy Matt (played by Anton Yelchin) works at an oddities and collectibles store called Bloody Mary’s. A devil-genie trinket arrives, and things go downhill (underground actually) after that. Live-in annoying girlfriend Evelyn (Ashley Greene, coincidentally born in Jacksonville FL, just north of where I live currently) dies in a freak accident but returns as a brain-eating zombie (complete with flies circling her lol), still with her faculties (she just looks like crap, in a weirdly hot sort of way). She’s still an unaware, attention-seeking pain in the butt, she still does yoga, she still wants her man! Of course there is the stereotypical playa-wanta-be best guy friend character (played by Oliver Cooper from The Hangover III) and the hottie new love interest Olivia. I’ll spoil nothing else for you, Burying the Ex is a great way to kick-start the scary-movie-watching season! [Best line: “You ate Travis?”]
